Check the bilge, engine room or deck for oil residue.
Pick the size that best matches the area of the spill.
Place the sponges on the spill and leave them until saturated.
Wring the sponges by hand (or with FF-Wring) into a container to recover the oil.
Bag the used sponges and socks and put the kit back in the 20-litre bag.
